Registering with CTR

At CTR Select we draw upon decades of combined recruitment experience when matching your skills and requirements to our clients. Upon receipt of your details on our system and a copy of your proof of eligibility to work in the UK, we can begin the process of recommending you to our clients and introducing your CV for positions that suit your requirements.

The CTR Select team would like to help you as much as possible through every step of the recruitment process – from CV advice to offer negotiation. Please just ask if there is anything that we can do. We look forward to working together and helping you find your next role.

What to expect

You can expect a thorough and fun experience when registering with CTR! We will look after you throughout the whole process, to make sure we find you the right role for you. In a nutshell, the process will be:

• Telephone screening with a member of the team, following an initial call or website enquiry.
• Face-to-face meeting (either in office or via Skype/FaceTime) with your dedicated consultant – at which point all registration forms and candidate data forms are completed.
• Your consultant will add all of your details to our bespoke database and talk through open vacancies and companies in the area who we feel would match your requirements.
• We will then keep in touch with you throughout any recruitment process or during our search for your next role.
• We will supply you with feedback every step of the way, to ensure you are getting a top service from us, and showing the best version of yourself.

Rules/expectations when being a candidate of CTR

We don’t have any strict ‘rules’ as such, but there are certain things that would be very helpful to us in assisting you to find your perfect role.

• Be as open and honest with us as possible – it makes it much easier on both sides 😊
• Make sure you tell us anything that is important to you or would be a ‘deal breaker’ – whether that be type of industry, distance, salary, or anything else.
• We know it can be difficult to answer calls during the day, but if we call/message you please do respond to us as soon as you can, as you could be missing an important job opportunity otherwise!
• Although we will inform you of the role and company as much as possible, we expect you to be prepared and have also done your due diligence and research on the company, so that there are no nasty surprises at the interview process.
• When you go for an interview, make sure you are dressed appropriately for the role and/or job environment.
